Case Closed turns investigation into two linked counters. Clues advance an Interrogation against three suspects, while Evidence solves case files that can improve a later interrogation. Seven Clues normally start the feature; solved cases can reduce that requirement, guarantee an early success or unlock a fourth suspect. This makes the bonus partly dependent on groundwork collected in the base game, while each interrogation still carries a random success-or-failure result.

Clues start the interrogation
The game uses five reels and four rows with line wins on up to 50 lines. Clue symbols can land on reels two, three and four and are recorded beside the suspects. Collecting seven Clues triggers Interrogation, unless the second Case has already been solved and lowered the requirement to five. The feature begins with Suspect 1; each suspect offers an instant cash reward determined by a random multiplier of the original wager.
The three initial suspects have different reward ranges: Suspect 1 offers 5x, 10x or 15x; Suspect 2 offers 25x, 30x, 40x, 50x or 75x; Suspect 3 offers 100x, 150x, 250x, 350x or 500x. An interrogation can succeed or fail, with the outcome selected randomly. Success banks that suspect’s reward and moves to the next; failure ends the feature. Any accumulated sum is paid at the end. This stop-on-failure sequence makes continuation consequential, without implying that a larger listed reward is more likely.
Evidence changes future cases
Evidence symbols contribute to three Case files on the right of the reels. At most one Evidence symbol can land on the middle reel in a spin, and each Case requires ten Evidence symbols to solve. Their effects are distinct and persistent: solving Case 1 guarantees the first interrogation will succeed and grants a reward when Interrogation triggers; solving Case 2 reduces the Clue requirement from seven to five; solving Case 3 unlocks Suspect 4.
The fourth suspect becomes available only after all three earlier suspect interrogations succeed, and the third Case has been solved. Suspect 4 then offers a 2,000x multiplier of the original wager. This is an extra stage after the three-suspect sequence, not an automatic payment simply for filling the Case 3 meter. Evidence therefore improves the conditions or possible reach of a future feature, whereas Clues provide the immediate trigger. The separation helps explain what each counter contributes.
Math and the real trade-off
The Red Tiger details record 96.02% RTP, volatility 19.5, a 5×4 layout, 50 lines and maximum payout of 2,640x. Evolution’s catalog lists RTP variants of 96.02% and 95.19%; the detailed record reports 96.02%, with the lower catalog configuration retained as a variant caveat. Although the game description advertises Suspect 4 at 2,000x, the recorded maximum payout is 2,640x; these figures describe different stated limits and should not be conflated.
The strongest idea is the relationship between preparation and risk: Evidence can improve a future interrogation, but success after the guaranteed first step still depends on random outcomes. The limitation is the accumulating wait for Clues and Evidence, followed by a feature that can end on an unsuccessful interview. The large Suspect 4 prize does not erase those conditions, and no probability is supplied for reaching it or the maximum payout.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
Clues and Evidence have separate, consequential roles: one starts questioning, while solved Cases alter trigger thresholds, early success and access to a fourth suspect.
Weaknesses
Interrogation can stop on a random failure, Evidence accumulation is limited on the middle reel, and reaching Suspect 4 requires several conditions.
Our Editor’s View
Case Closed will make the most sense to players who enjoy managing progress toward a later decision point. Clues determine when questioning begins; Evidence changes the conditions under which that future questioning proceeds. Once inside, rewards are banked only as interrogations succeed, so the sequence combines advancement with the risk of ending before the next suspect. Solved cases make preparation meaningful, but they do not remove every uncertainty. The fourth suspect is a conditional extension with its own requirements, not a shortcut to the advertised 2,000x. The game’s appeal lies in tracking both forms of progress and understanding where each one changes the rules.
