Xterminate places its entire feature system inside the paid-spin sequence rather than a separate Free Spins bonus. Matching sets feed an unusual accumulator, Bombs reopen the board when ordinary wins stop, and Charged Wilds can survive more than one evaluation. The hostile-machine setting suits that continuing battle, but the real distinction is mathematical: a newly modified win is added back into the value used to modify the next one.

Wins feed back into the Xterminate Multiplier
Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on a six-reel, five-row board produce Scatter Pay wins. Winning symbols disappear for Avalanches. Each win is represented as a multiple of the stake, multiplied by the current Xterminate Multiplier, then added back to that multiplier. When the sequence finishes, the accumulated total is converted into the stake-based award. It is not simply a fixed extra multiplier applied independently to each visible win.
For example, at a current accumulator of 3x, a new 2x result contributes 6x, producing a new total of 9x. That example follows the documented multiply-then-add operation; it is not a claim that the game begins every round at 3x. The total resets when the paid spin is settled. A sequence that ends early therefore cannot carry its developed accumulator into the next separately paid round.
Bombs preserve the strongest remaining symbol count
A Bomb can detonate when no ordinary winning combination remains. It removes most of the board while preserving the regular symbol type with the highest count. If types tie for that count, the higher-paying one is preserved. Other Bombs and Charged Wilds also survive the blast. Replacements then enter for another evaluation, giving the retained type another opportunity to reach a qualifying total.
This is not the same as keeping every premium symbol or selecting the highest-paying icon regardless of count. Frequency determines the first choice, and paytable value breaks a tie. The incoming symbols remain random, so preserving the best-supported type can still leave too few matching symbols after the refill. Bombs can reopen a stalled sequence, but they do not establish a guaranteed path to a particular accumulator value.
Charged Wilds survive through a bounded number of uses
Charged Wilds arrive with one to three lives and substitute for regular paying symbols. Involvement in a winning Avalanche removes one life, with at most one lost in that Avalanche even when the Wild contributes to several wins. After its last life is used, it disappears. Bomb protection can therefore keep a surviving Wild available while much of the surrounding board changes, but does not make it permanent.
There is no separate Free Spins round. Optional paid modes can alter win access, including a guaranteed-win setting, but an award is not the same as profit after that mode’s higher stake. The official card lists 94.12% RTP and very high volatility, with a confirmed 25,000x stake ceiling. The experience depends on how long the current chain can develop before its accumulator resets, rather than waiting for a conventional Scatter bonus.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The feedback accumulator gives successive wins a precise relationship. Bomb protection and life-limited Wilds support the same continuing sequence, creating feature interaction without a separate bonus round.
Weaknesses
The accumulator resets after each paid round, and Charged Wilds disappear when their lives expire. A Bomb preserves a symbol count but cannot guarantee enough matching replacements to continue.
Our Editor’s View
Xterminate has a coherent base-game focus: preserve useful material, create another evaluation and feed its result back into the accumulator. Its strongest idea is the connection between the multiply-then-add operation and features that can prolong the sequence. Its limitation is that all that progress belongs to one paid round and can stop before it becomes substantial. It suits readers who prefer the main board to contain the full feature set, while players seeking a separate Free Spins event should recognise that this game deliberately concentrates its action elsewhere.
