Tutan Kha-boom rotates the familiar Egyptian tomb into a tall playing area. Its connecting wins run upward, while exploding symbols and Redrops change the board between evaluations. The bonus adds a second form of multiplier progress: collecting enough Wilds removes low values from the trail. Following the current multiplier and the lowest value still available is therefore more useful than treating the pharaoh’s explosions as one undifferentiated feature.

A vertical board changes the direction of connections
The layout has three reels and five rows, with 99 connecting pay ways. Matching sequences begin at the bottom and continue upward through adjacent rows. This is the vertical presentation described in the detailed account, consistent with the official card’s three-reel figure. Its 5×3 description should not be silently turned into a conventional five-reel layout. The bottom positions start the evaluated connection rather than the usual leftmost reel.
Winning combinations clear, remaining symbols drop into the available space, and new symbols enter for another evaluation. The Redrop multiplier starts at 1x and doubles with successive winning activity, reaching 32x in the ordinary game and 64x in the bonus. When the sequence stops, a new ordinary spin restarts the multiplier. A long chain can advance it, but an explosion or a replacement by itself does not establish another matching connection.
The Ankh explosion creates another route to a Redrop
The Ankh Explosive Wild can substitute during evaluation and then clears symbols from its row and column after the initial wins are paid. High-paying symbols and Scatters are excluded from that clearing effect in the detailed rules. The cross-shaped removal is different from clearing every symbol on the board or a surrounding square. It opens a specific set of positions while leaving certain icons in place.
That footprint makes the Wild’s location relevant. A row-and-column blast can produce a different replacement arrangement, but it does not let the player choose the incoming symbols. It can lead into more Redrops without promising that the chain reaches the multiplier ceiling. The named Bottoms Up presentation belongs to this upward-connecting, changing board; its lively animation is not evidence of control over the resulting matches.
Bonus collection raises the multiplier’s reset point
Three Scatters collected within one base-game round award ten Free Spins. Two or three Scatters during the bonus add three or seven spins respectively. Every three collected Exploding Wilds remove the lowest multiplier value from the trail. The following Free Spin therefore starts at the lowest value still active, rather than necessarily returning to the original 1x floor. Collecting fifteen Wilds leaves only the 64x value active.
This floor progression and the multiplier’s rise within a Redrop sequence have separate conditions. A sequence can climb without completing the next three-Wild collection, while a raised floor can survive into a later spin. The current official card lists 94.17% RTP and medium volatility; the supplementary review uses a different volatility label, so that label is not imported here. The maximum is 5,000x the stake, distinct from the 64x feature multiplier.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The vertical connecting system gives the rotated layout a practical purpose. Bonus Wild collection changes the next spin’s multiplier floor, adding persistence beyond the current Redrop sequence.
Weaknesses
Raising the bonus floor requires sets of three Exploding Wilds. A cross-shaped blast does not guarantee another connecting win, and the 64x multiplier is separate from the payout ceiling.
Our Editor’s View
Tutan Kha-boom has two useful distinctions from a generic Egyptian line game: connections run vertically, and bonus collection can eliminate low multiplier reset values. Its strongest idea is allowing a completed Wild milestone to influence the next Free Spin as well as the current board. The limitation is that both ongoing connections and later collection events remain conditional. It suits readers who enjoy tracking a multiplier trail, provided they keep its within-sequence growth separate from its retained floor and read the three-reel layout in the intended vertical orientation.
