The Wildos 2 Slot Review: Rules, Features and RTP

The Wildos 2 game artwork by Thunderkick

The Wildos 2 makes its bonus choice a trade-off between attempts and Wild strength. Bronze, Silver and Gold do more than colour the outlaw characters: each tier has a different multiplier range, and the selected tier determines which Wilds remain sticky during ordinary Free Spins. Its Super Bonus changes that restriction. The train-heist setting wraps a game whose central question is what persists after each spin.

Three Wild tiers on the middle reels

The ordinary board has five reels, four rows and 20 paylines. Multiplier Wilds appear on reels two, three and four. Bronze values range from 1x to 3x, Silver from 5x to 8x, and Gold from 10x to 25x. These are tier ranges, rather than one multiplier assigned to every Wild of that colour. A visible high value still needs to contribute to the game’s winning combinations.

The Bounty Poster feature uses the bandit’s colour on the wanted sign to determine the distributed tier. A green poster awards up to four Bronze Wilds, while red and blue can award up to five Silver or Gold Wilds respectively. The upper counts should not be presented as fixed awards. The poster links a visual character to a specific modifier family without establishing that the strongest distribution appears on every activation.

Choosing duration or a stronger sticky tier

Three dynamite Scatters open the Bonus Choice. The published options are twelve Bronze Free Spins, nine Silver Free Spins or six Gold Free Spins. All tiers can appear during those rounds, but only the selected tier stays sticky for the feature’s duration. Choosing Gold therefore does not turn every Bronze or Silver Wild into a persistent position; the preservation rule is tied to the chosen category.

This creates a concrete distinction between opening duration and potential Wild value. Bronze starts with more spins and a lower multiplier range. Gold starts with fewer attempts and the highest range. That comparison does not establish which option has the better return or will produce the larger prize on a particular entry. The full distribution of Wild arrivals and values is not given, so the choice cannot honestly be reduced to an assured best option.

Random Bonus and the broader Super Bonus rule

Random Bonus awards between six and twelve Free Spins and selects the multiplier tier randomly. It can also lead to the Super Bonus. Alternatively, at least one Super Scatter on a feature-triggering spin activates that mode. Super Bonus awards twelve Free Spins with Bronze, Silver and Gold Wilds all sticky, removing the ordinary restriction to the chosen tier. The probability of receiving it through Random Bonus is not established.

Thunderkick’s current public card lists 94.19% RTP and high volatility; the release announcement states 10,000x win potential. These figures belong to the published sequel information and should not be substituted for the original Wildos. A long round with sticky Wilds is still conditional on useful placements, and the maximum is an upper limit rather than the value of a typical Bonus Choice.

Strengths and weak points

Strengths

The tier-specific sticky rule makes the Bonus Choice meaningful: opening duration and multiplier range change together, while Super Bonus has a clear separate advantage in persistence.

Weaknesses

The distribution of Wild arrivals and the Random Bonus chance of becoming Super are not stated, so neither the strongest colour nor the longest opening round guarantees a better result.

Our Editor’s View

The Wildos 2 is strongest when the three choices are read as different persistence rules instead of a simple ranking of colours. A Gold Wild has a higher possible value, but its six-spin starting round provides fewer attempts than Bronze, and ordinary bonuses preserve only their selected tier. Super Bonus is distinct because it removes that tier restriction. The limitation is the information missing behind the choice: without arrival probabilities and the Random Bonus upgrade chance, the player cannot infer a reliable best route from those visible numbers alone. The design suits readers who enjoy comparing clearly bounded bonus formats.
