Shamrock Quest turns its enchanted Irish map into a second layer of play. A Leprechaun Wild can move along the route when it joins a winning base-game combination; separate Scatters can start Locked Wins. The five-reel, three-row, 25-line game has Very High volatility, selectable RTP builds and a 10,249× maximum multiplier.

RTP and stake limits can vary by version and market. Check the information screen in the game you open. Maximum win is a ceiling, not an expected result.
A winning Wild starts the journey
The five-reel, three-row layout has 25 lines. The Leprechaun Wild substitutes in wins and drives the Map feature. Habanero’s launch account says he walks one cell for every Wild in view after activation. A Wild alone is insufficient: it must join a winning combination, so map progress depends on placement and a qualifying result.
Map stops can award cash up to 100×, lead to Guaranteed Wild Free Games or reach the Pot of Gold feature, advertised at 10,000×. These are separate destinations, not an accumulating prize. Habanero gives no route odds or full path diagram, so progress does not predict a reward.
Two bonuses, two entry routes
Habanero lists seven Locked Wins and seven Guaranteed Wild Free Games, reached through Scatters or map exploration. Its launch account says three Scatters start Locked Wins, where combinations stay in place; a red map pebble starts Guaranteed Wild mode. One holds winning patterns, the other supplies Wilds during its spins.
A secondary rules review says two non-adjacent reel Wilds expand across their reels on each Guaranteed Wild spin. Habanero confirms the seven-spin modes and prize ceilings, but not every cell detail. The reviewed sources give no retrigger terms or map probabilities; check local help.
How the parts interact
The sequence is conditional: a Leprechaun Wild joins a base-game win, movement follows, and the landing cell determines the reward. A Wild without a win does not advance it; a map step is not automatically cash or Free Games. Scatters offer a separate route to Locked Wins. The map adds a consequence to some wins, not all.
Gonzo’s Quest II also shows progression through avalanches and Free Games. Shamrock Quest ties movement to a winning Wild and its destination; neither game lets players control random outcomes.
Configuration and limits
The exact Habanero page lists Very High volatility, RTP options of 86%, 92%, 94%, 97% and 98%, and a 10,249× maximum multiplier. The operator selects the live return. The separate Pot of Gold feature is advertised up to 10,000×; that feature prize and the full-game maximum are not interchangeable. Both figures are ceilings, not evidence about how often the map or bonus produces them.
The public page confirms the seven-spin modes but does not set out the full Scatter table or retrigger conditions. Check the local rules panel for those details and the selected RTP before comparing versions. Buy Feature is listed, but no cost is stated on the official page reviewed here, so no price is assigned.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
A winning Leprechaun Wild can advance the map, linking an ordinary line result to distinct cash and Free Games destinations instead of leaving the folklore theme purely decorative.
Weaknesses
The map requires a Wild-assisted win and an unchosen destination; Very High volatility and multiple RTP builds also make results configuration-dependent.
Our Editor’s View
Shamrock Quest’s map gives a winning Leprechaun Wild a second role: after substitution, it can move toward cash or a bonus. Scatters separately start Locked Wins. Progress and destination remain uncertain, and the operator selects the RTP. Readers who enjoy conditional feature paths may like the design, but should distinguish the 10,000× Pot of Gold from the 10,249× game maximum.
