Le Bandit Slot Review

Le Bandit slot artwork

Le Bandit’s bonus economy is visible: clusters cascade away, leaving Golden Squares that need a Rainbow to activate their coins, clovers and Pots of Gold. Free-spin modes change how long squares persist and how reliably Rainbows arrive, making scatter count central to collection.

Cascades create a map of potential value

The game uses six reels and five rows with cluster pays. When a winning combination forms, the contributing regular paying symbols and matching symbols visible elsewhere disappear; new symbols fall into the gaps. Cascades continue while each new arrangement produces another win. Every position forming part of a win becomes a Golden Square when its symbol vanishes. The highlighted cells therefore record where winning activity occurred, but they are not themselves an immediate award. The separate Rainbow condition controls when their special contents are revealed.

When a Rainbow appears on the same spin, all Golden Squares activate. Affected cells receive Bronze, Silver or Gold coin values, or a Four-Leaf Clover or Pot of Gold. Bronze values range from 0.2× to 4×, Silver from 5× to 20×, and Gold can reach 500×. Clovers multiply adjacent cells, including Pots of Gold, by 2× to 10×. Pots then collect the coin values in view and other Pots, with collection order proceeding top to bottom and left to right. This order matters because a Pot can gather values produced by the preceding clover step.

The bonus modes change persistence and Rainbow access

Three Free Spins symbols start Luck of the Bandit with Golden Squares remaining highlighted between spins until a Rainbow activates them. Two symbols during the bonus award two additional spins; three award three. Four scatters in the base game can start All That Glitters Is Gold directly with twelve spins. If four arrive during Luck, the feature upgrades, carrying the remaining spins plus four into the next mode. There, highlighted squares stay lit and may activate repeatedly when a Rainbow arrives, though not every spin becomes a collection event.

Five scatters open Treasure at the End of the Rainbow with twelve free spins. Highlighted squares remain illuminated, and a Rainbow is guaranteed on every spin. That removes the need to wait for the activating symbol, making repeated Golden Square resolution the mode’s defining change. This top route cannot be purchased, according to the official page. The contrast is specific: carry-over highlights in Luck, persistent highlights in All That Glitters, and persistent highlights plus guaranteed Rainbow activation in Treasure.

Published settings and what remains uncertain

Hacksaw lists volatility at 3/5, a 10,000× maximum and RTP configurations of 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%; check the casino’s information panel for its setting. The page does not give Rainbow frequency, coin-value distribution or the likelihood of four- and five-scatter modes. Bonus Buy availability is jurisdiction-dependent. The rules explain the collection sequence, not its frequency or average contribution.

Strengths and weak points

Strengths

Golden Squares turn cascade history into a clear visual resource, and the rules explain how Rainbows, clovers and Pots resolve rather than treating collection as a black box.

Weaknesses

Marked cells can wait without paying until a Rainbow arrives, and the odds of Rainbows, high-value coins and the rarer scatter routes are not published.

Our Editor’s View

Le Bandit separates opportunity from collection: cascades leave Golden Squares, Rainbows activate them, and clovers and Pots shape the values. Scatter count gives the free-spin routes distinct roles. Marks may accumulate without a Rainbow, and the page does not quantify the full sequence’s frequency. Players who like tracking a changing board get clear rules; those seeking immediate awards may find the wait less satisfying.
