Dragon Boyz stages a dragon pop concert around a four-level progression system. Each unlocked position gives a different dragon a chance to transform a spin, and the last level introduces both a large Gold Wild and Free Spins. The lively presentation hides a fairly involved set of interactions worth learning before following the show.

Four levels and a changing grid
The game starts on a 5×3 grid with three locked positions above the middle reels. Collecting 48 Red Dragons unlocks level two and the first top position; 24 Blue Dragons at level two unlock level three, and 12 Green Dragons at level three unlock level four. Each newly available position can activate the corresponding dragon when it lands there. The recorded full layout is 3-4-4-4-3, with up to 576 lines.
At ordinary positions, the coloured dragons act as Wilds for paying symbols. A Red Dragon in its top position expands across reel two and selects a multiplier of 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x. Blue expands on reel three and mirrors paying symbols from the first two reels onto the last two. Green expands on reel four and upgrades royals into their corresponding higher-paying symbols.
When dragon features meet
The Blue feature has a particularly important interaction: an ordinary Red Dragon on reel two is copied as a Green Dragon onto reel four. A Red Dragon in the top position expands after mirroring. At level four, a Green Dragon can also arrive in the top position of reel four through the copied result and activate its own upgrade feature. The source explains these cases but does not provide a complete probability table for the combinations.
At the highest level, a Gold Dragon in the top position of the middle reel expands into a 3×4 Wild covering all three middle reels. It cannot land in the same spin as another dragon. This means the Gold outcome is an alternative to combining the coloured dragons, not an extra layer automatically stacked on top of them.
Free Spins and the cap
At level four, two Free Spins scatters on the first and fifth reels award eight spins. Each free spin guarantees one dragon in its top position. Two scatters during the feature add three spins and turn the remaining rounds into Super Spins, which guarantee two dragons or a Golden Dragon in top positions. The rules do not state a separate probability for reaching that upgrade.
The listed RTP is 96.11%, volatility 28.24 and maximum win 20,000x. Reaching the cap ends the game round and forfeits remaining bonus spins. Where offered, purchases cost 20x for a Dragon Feature, 80x for Free Spins or 1,000x for Super Spins; their availability depends on the venue. A high ceiling does not indicate how frequently it will be reached.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The coloured dragons have distinct jobs, and Blue mirroring can set up a Green upgrade; Super Spins increase the guaranteed dragon presence.
Weaknesses
Natural Free Spins require level four, and a 20,000x cap ends the round immediately, forfeiting any remaining bonus spins.
Our Editor’s View
Dragon Boyz rewards attention to the order in which its dragon effects change the grid. Blue mirroring and Green upgrades can interact, while the Gold Dragon offers a separate large Wild outcome. Its progression and upgraded bonus give the concert structure, but access to the full natural feature set requires reaching level four, and the maximum cap can end a bonus early.
