Dr Zappo turns symbol conversion into a visible path problem. An Eyeball fires straight up or diagonally left or right, changing paying symbols along its route into Wilds. Energy Fields can redirect that shot, extending the conversion path; if it meets an existing Wild or Eyeball, it adds a multiplier to that symbol. The bonus games then change how often Eyeballs appear or how many directions they fire. This is a more specific hook than a standard expanding Wild: where a shot travels, what it touches and which scatter count opened the feature all affect what the spin can build.

A line of sight changes the reel result
The official listing identifies the win type as paylines but does not give the reel dimensions or line count. Its rules focus instead on the Eyeball. When the symbol lands, it shoots in one of three directions: vertically upward, diagonally left or diagonally right. Every paying symbol in its path becomes a Wild, so a single special symbol can alter several positions rather than acting only as a substitute where it landed.
Energy Fields add a second stage. When a shot strikes one, it bounces and continues along another direction, converting more symbols on the way. If that continuing route hits a Wild or another Eyeball, the existing Wild gains a multiplier value. The chain therefore has two separate effects: path length can create more Wild positions, while contact with a special symbol can increase a multiplier on that symbol. The official description does not say the multiplier spreads to all wins or how multiple values combine, so the safe reading is local: it belongs to the Wild that was hit.
Three scatter counts, three shot patterns
Three FS symbols trigger ten Eyeconic free spins, where Eyeballs have an increased chance of landing. The modifier raises the opportunity for the path mechanic without changing the stated rule about how each shot travels. Four scatters open ten No-Brainer spins, with Eyeballs firing in two different directions. The two-direction rule changes the possible reach of each Eyeball, but the page does not claim that every Eyeball gains a multiplier or that a particular route is guaranteed to form a win.
Five scatters unlock the hidden It’s Electrifying feature: ten spins with at least one Eyeball landing on every spin. That guarantee gives the mode a more reliable supply of the core symbol than the other bonuses, but it does not guarantee a winning path, an Energy Field bounce, or contact that adds a multiplier. Those distinctions matter when reading the feature as a rules system rather than treating a guaranteed Eyeball as a guaranteed payout.
Known settings, unknown path odds
Hacksaw lists volatility at 3/5, a 10,000× maximum and four RTP versions: 96.31%, 94.36%, 92.31% and 86.22%. The selected return depends on the operator configuration, which is not identified by the general game page. No numeric payline count, shot-direction distribution, multiplier range or feature frequency is given there. The public rules also do not quantify how often an Eyeball meets an Energy Field or another special symbol.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The shot paths create a readable cause-and-effect mechanic: ordinary symbols become Wilds along the route, Energy Fields extend it, and symbol contact modifies a specific Wild.
Weaknesses
The official page omits grid dimensions, line count, multiplier values and feature frequencies, so the reach of a shot is clear while its odds and payout scale are not.
Our Editor’s View
Our editor likes that Dr Zappo gives its special symbol a job that can be followed across the screen. Direction determines which paying symbols change; Energy Fields can extend the route; and contact with another Eyeball or Wild adds a value to that particular symbol. The three bonus tiers progressively adjust access to that system, from a higher Eyeball chance to two-direction shots and finally one Eyeball guaranteed on each spin. The unresolved part is numerical rather than conceptual: the public rules do not disclose how often the paths connect or how the added multiplier resolves across wins. Players who enjoy tracing symbol interactions should understand the central idea quickly, while those comparing mathematical profiles will need the exact operator paytable and should not read the maximum as a likely outcome.
