Cash Crew makes collection the key decision point in its heist theme. Cash symbols can land with values, and multiplier symbols double as Wilds, but the cash is not collected merely because it appears. A Grab ’em scatter must arrive on the same spin as at least one Cash symbol. That trigger turns the layout around those symbols into the important part of a result.

A collection trigger, not a standing payout
The official game page describes a five-reel, five-row slot with paylines, but does not publish their number. Regular line wins and the Cash feature are distinct: Cash symbols show bet-based values, yet a simultaneous Grab ’em and at least one Cash symbol are required to collect them. Without that pairing, a displayed Cash amount is not a collected award.
Cash values range from 1x to 500x the bet. This is a range of possible symbol values, not an expected return. The mechanic asks the player to read two conditions together: whether a collector is present and which Cash positions it can affect.
Wild substitution also changes nearby cash
Multiplier symbols substitute for any paytable symbol, so they can help form a paying line. Their second job depends on the Cash feature: a multiplier affects Cash in the surrounding 3-by-3 area when Grab ’em collects. If more than one multiplier is adjacent to a Cash symbol, each applies to that symbol’s value. The page lists multipliers from x2 to x25; values of x4 and above can appear hidden behind a question mark and are revealed when Cash is collected.
The rules specify two separate calculations. A multiplier on a winning payline multiplies that line’s value; when several are part of the same line, their multiplier values are multiplied together. For Cash, nearby multipliers affect collected symbols in their local area. A Wild may therefore matter through line substitution, through proximity to Cash, or both, but those are not interchangeable effects. Placement and the collector’s arrival determine whether the second role is relevant on a spin.
Two Vaults, with different guarantees
Three FS scatters in the base game trigger The Vault, which begins with six free spins. Four trigger The High-Security Vault with nine. Both modes improve the chances of seeing more Cash and multiplier symbols at higher values, and both activate landed multiplier positions for the rest of that feature. Each such position receives a random multiplier on every remaining spin. The enhanced chances are not described as guarantees of a particular layout or payout.
The higher Vault adds a specific floor: every Cash symbol that lands there is worth at least 5x. Both Vaults can also gain one to six spins when a Stopwatch appears; its display gives the number awarded. These details make the modes meaningfully different. The second has more starting spins and a minimum Cash value, while the persistent multiplier positions operate in both. Neither description states a maximum retrigger count, odds, RTP, volatility or calendar release date. The page states a 10,000x maximum win in every game mode, but does not provide the full paytable or numeric line count.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The split between collecting a Cash value and multiplying it rewards attention to symbol placement. A collected symbol may benefit from several nearby multipliers, while Vault rules add distinct persistent positions and a higher-mode Cash floor.
Weaknesses
Cash symbols need a simultaneous Grab ’em trigger, and local multiplier reach matters. The official page omits hit frequencies, volatility, RTP and the line count, so it cannot support estimates of how often the collection pattern forms.
Our Editor’s View
Cash Crew’s clearest idea is that a number printed on a Cash symbol is only part of the outcome. The collector has to arrive, and nearby multipliers can then change selected values; those same symbols may also contribute to ordinary Wild line wins. That gives each spin a readable set of conditions without making every promising arrangement a collection. The Vault adds activated multiplier positions, while The High-Security Vault additionally guarantees a minimum value for landed Cash. Our view is that this makes the feature logic easy to follow once the separate triggers are understood. Players looking for a mathematical comparison should note the limits of the published detail: a top win is listed, but return, volatility, odds and even the numeric number of paylines are not. The official rules explain what can happen, not how frequently it happens.
