Bjorn makes the point where ordinary cluster wins stop part of the action. If enemies remain, the Hero Hunt can clear a path and create more board changes before the round finally settles. Loot and a Global Multiplier give those defeats another purpose, while random Abilities modify the hunt. Its dark-fantasy battle is consequently more than a theme pasted over an eight-by-eight cluster board: the character’s position influences how the sequence continues.

Hero Hunt can continue after the last cluster
Five matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a cluster on the 8×8 grid. Winning icons clear for an Avalanche. When no winning clusters remain but Draugr are still present, Bjorn hunts them, destroying symbols along his path and remaining at the destination until he moves again or the round ends. Replacements move towards the Hero, so the refill is affected by his location rather than always behaving as a simple vertical drop.
While stationary, the Hero acts as a Wild for ordinary matching symbols. Defeated enemies can leave Loot or contribute multiplier progress. A Troll adds another spatial event, clearing a 3×3 area as it moves and counting as nine Draugr when defeated. Its size matters particularly to the bonus counter, but its appearance is not a guarantee that the next round will contain another Troll or reach the next collection milestone.
Abilities modify the hunt through different routes
Random Ability upgrades change specific parts of the sequence. Thor’s Strength improves Loot chances and multiplier gains from defeated enemies. Call of Hel introduces extra Draugr. Odin’s Insight turns the Hero’s path into Mystery symbols, with the stronger level able to produce Wilds. Those are different effects: adding enemies creates material for a hunt, whereas changing the path changes the replacements left behind.
The Global Multiplier applies to both cluster and Loot wins, but resets at the start of every paid round and every Free Spin. Loot is settled when no further Avalanches or Draugr remain. That means a lengthy hunt can build value within one sequence without carrying its peak into the next spin. Ability progression and the current Global Multiplier must therefore be tracked separately rather than treated as one permanently growing statistic.
A Scatter offers a chance, not a fixed-count guarantee
Each Scatter has its own chance to start the bonus when the sequence resolves; there is no fixed three-Scatter entry threshold. The bonus awards five Free Spins together with one to three random Ability upgrades. Every twenty defeated Draugr during the feature awards two more spins and another one to three upgrades. Once all Abilities are fully upgraded, completing that milestone awards the spins alone.
A Troll counts as nine defeats towards the threshold, which links the larger enemy directly to feature duration. The official card lists 94.22% RTP and very high volatility, with a 5,000x stake ceiling. Some secondary text uses different configuration labels, so those are not substituted for the current card. The short opening allocation makes the twenty-enemy extension important, but neither a visible Scatter nor an unfinished counter promises another feature or retrigger.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
Hero Hunt gives remaining enemies a role after ordinary clusters stop. Troll defeats contribute directly to the bonus threshold, linking spatial clearing, Ability progression and extra spins through the same battle.
Weaknesses
A Scatter only offers a chance of entry, and five opening spins need enemy defeats to extend. The Global Multiplier resets every Free Spin even while Ability progress remains relevant.
Our Editor’s View
Bjorn is most distinctive in the gap between a finished cluster and a finished round. The Hero can still hunt, alter the refill and collect Loot, with Abilities changing the process. Its strength is linking those battles to a clearly defined bonus extension threshold. Its limitation is that the Global Multiplier’s growth belongs to one sequence, while Scatter entry remains probabilistic rather than a visible fixed-count target. It suits readers who enjoy a game resolving in several stages, provided they distinguish combat progress, retained upgrades and the multiplier that restarts with each Free Spin.
