Beat the Beast: Griffin’s Gold Reborn builds its bonus around a small number of Wilds that stay on screen, move between positions and improve through successful participation. Thunderkick keeps the ordinary game to five reels and nine lines. The resulting feature is easy to identify visually, but its important detail is arithmetic: several developed Wilds on the same line can combine differently from the additive multipliers used in Dragon’s Wrath.

A guardian on nine fixed lines
The screen has five reels and three rows. Matching combinations pay from the leftmost reel across consecutive positions on the listed nine paylines, with the longest eligible combination paid on a line. The griffin setting supplies a mythical treasure-guarding atmosphere, while the limited line count keeps the basic structure simple. Symbols scattered across unrelated paths do not become a line win merely because they look like a promising group.
The Griffin Emblem acts as both Wild and Scatter in the base game. It substitutes for ordinary symbols and can contribute to a line payout, while three or more anywhere trigger the bonus. Scatter payments and line payments are added where the rules provide both. This combined role makes the emblem central to the game, but a single emblem helping an ordinary win is not enough to open Free Spins.
Roaming Wilds grow through winning use
The bonus starts with ten Free Spins. Up to three Roaming Wilds remain on the reels for the feature rather than disappearing after one result. Before a new spin they move to adjacent positions. Their persistence provides repeated chances to support matching lines, while the movement changes which symbol arrangements they can assist. It is continued Wild presence, not a guarantee that each move will complete another paying line.
Each Roaming Wild begins with a 1x multiplier. After a spin in which it participates in a winning combination, its multiplier increases by one, up to 5x. The increase belongs to that Wild, rather than automatically raising every other Wild or multiplying all results on the screen. A Wild that has not contributed to the relevant winning event should not be assumed to gain the same progress merely because another one has paid.
A line multiplier is not the round maximum
When more than one Roaming Wild participates on the same paying line, their developed multipliers can combine multiplicatively. Three at their 5x limit can therefore supply a 125x line multiplier: 5 multiplied by 5 multiplied by 5. This requires the useful Wild positions and values to meet on that line. Three developed Wilds spread across incompatible line positions do not automatically apply 125x to every win or to the whole feature total.
The current Reborn page lists 96.14% RTP and Very High volatility. These describe the public version, while the exact Reborn operator rules support the ten-spin feature and individual 1x-to-5x progression. The line multiplier ceiling should not be used as a substitute for a separately verified overall round limit. Check the active game’s paytable and configuration before comparing its results with another Beat the Beast title, even when the artwork and feature names look closely related.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
Persistent Wilds give the bonus a clear cast of developing symbols. Individual growth and multiplicative line interaction make their position and winning participation matter in an understandable way.
Weaknesses
Useful development depends on the Wilds participating in wins, then occupying compatible line positions. Very High volatility remains, and three maximum-value Wilds do not confer a blanket 125x multiplier on the entire bonus.
Our Editor’s View
Griffin’s Gold Reborn suits players who enjoy following a few persistent symbols as they improve and move around a compact grid. Its strongest interaction is the possibility of developed Wilds meeting on the same paying line. That is also its main limitation: growth and alignment must work together. Keep individual Wild progression separate from the feature total, and do not import the additive multiplier rules of another beast into this version.
