Beast Below uses two underwater Wild systems. In the base game, a Yellow Siren expands upward when it would form part of a win. The four-scatter Down Below bonus introduces Divers that cover a full reel, carry limited oxygen and may move. Both use multipliers, but position and remaining charges make Divers more than enlarged Sirens.

A Siren expands only when a win qualifies
The official description gives a 5-by-4 layout with fourteen paylines. Yellow Sirens are the base game’s wild symbols. A Siren expands upward to the top of the grid whenever it would form part of a win after expansion. Its multiplier, which can reach 200×, applies to any win it passes through. If multiple Sirens share the same win line, their values are added before being applied to the relevant payouts. They disappear after each spin, so their presence does not carry as a persistent reel modifier from one base spin to the next.
Expansion is conditional on joining a win; the page does not state Siren frequency, multiplier distribution or the chance of completing a line.
Two bonuses, two kinds of persistence
Three Free Spins symbols trigger Sirens’ Call for ten spins and increase the odds of Sirens appearing. Pink Sirens may also land during this feature. They remain where they expanded and nudge off one row at a time until removed. Their multipliers range from 2× to 200×, matching the stated range for the Yellow Sirens. Two scatters during the feature add two spins; three add three. The pink version introduces limited persistence, so the reel position can remain relevant after the initial expansion rather than vanishing at the end of the spin.
Four scatters start Down Below with ten free spins and bring in Divers. A Diver fully expands over an entire reel when it lands and begins with three oxygen charges. At the start of a spin it may move to an adjacent reel, spending one charge; its displayed multiplier may change during that move. Once its oxygen reaches zero, it leaves. Like Sirens, Divers can carry multipliers up to 200×, and multiple Divers in one win have their values aggregated before applying them. No more than three Divers may be present at once. Retriggers add two spins for two scatters or four for three. Movement can reposition a multiplier Wild, but also consumes the resource that keeps it in play.
Configuration and uncertainty
Hacksaw lists volatility at 4/5, a 10,000× maximum and four RTP configurations: 96.29%, 94.27%, 92.25% and 88.28%. The casino version may select one of these settings, so the in-game information panel is the practical check. The headline maximum does not describe how often a bonus begins, whether multipliers align with a line, or how many oxygen charges remain after Diver movement. Those probabilities are not in the official description. The two features can be compared by their stated rules, but not by a public estimate of frequency or average return.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
Base Sirens and bonus Divers have distinct, traceable rules; the oxygen mechanic gives each moving full-reel Wild a visible duration and positional trade-off.
Weaknesses
A Diver’s move consumes a charge and may change its multiplier, while the official source gives no movement probabilities or odds for obtaining the scatters and high multiplier values.
Our Editor’s View
Beast Below contrasts a Siren that must cross a winning line with a Diver whose movement consumes oxygen. Both multiply wins they touch, but the bonus adds a cost to repositioning and caps the number on screen. Those rules make Down Below more than a repeat of the base feature. Movement, trigger and multiplier probabilities remain undisclosed. Players who enjoy an evolving board may value the extra state; anyone wanting stable Wilds may find the oxygen cost restrictive.
