Wanted: Wild West

The train has barely reached town before the trouble starts. One Western slot puts the action on the rails; another waits for a sheriff, a bounty hunter or a stick of dynamite. The hats and horses may be familiar, but the rules behind them are rarely the same.

Wanted: Wild West brings together 20 published reviews of frontier-themed games from several studios. Money Train 5 and The Great Train Heist use the railway in very different ways. El Paso Gunfight xNudge changes the shape of its board, while Wild West Gold keeps its focus on valued wilds and free spins. Follow any cover below for the documented features and limits of that individual game.

The railroad takes more than one route through this collection. Money Train 5 builds its bonus around stations and Ticket symbols, while Wild Wild West: The Great Train Heist separates a pick game from Free Spins with a selected Wild rule. Wild Chapo 2 Dream Drop puts two jackpot wheels at the centre of its feature. The setting connects them; the bonus logic does not.

Some games make the showdown visible on the reels. El Paso Gunfight xNudge asks for a stance before its asymmetric shootout develops. Wild Bandolier builds up bullets until a Sheriff appears. Buckshot Wilds sends Wilds down the board and can expand the reels, while Dead or Alive 3: Wanted pairs multiplier-bearing Wanted Wilds with reel-covering Bounty Hunter Wilds. These are different ways to turn a chase into a readable sequence rather than a single static symbol.

Gold and bounties offer another comparison. Wild West Gold uses valued Wilds that become sticky in Free Spins; Cowboy Coins gives its respin board four named modifiers. Bounty Gold calculates collected values at the end of its Money Respin, whereas Bounty County offers three bonus priorities after its bandit encounter. Dead West moves furthest from the familiar line cabinet with a seven-by-seven scatter grid and Hot Zones that can grow. The covers share dust, badges and treasure, but each linked review explains the particular rules the artwork cannot show.
