Shark Boss turns its fishing premise into a collection mechanic that can persist from one spin to the next. When the Shark’s line is in the water, Fishermen caught after a line win pay their displayed values; if another Fisherman lands on the following spin, the line can catch that symbol too. A Lady symbol can build a separate multiplier for collected Fishermen prizes, while ordinary line wins remain outside that multiplier.

A catch can carry into the next spin
The game is a five-reel, three-row line slot with up to 20 lines. Three Fisherman symbols substitute for one another in line wins and carry random bet multipliers by type: Rookie values are 1x, 2x or 3x; Bass Boss values range from 5x to 10x; and Old Captain values are 15x, 20x or 25x. Those are the prizes attached to Fishermen, and they are collected only while the Shark’s fishing line is down. This distinction matters because appearing on the reels is not itself enough to collect a value.
The Shark randomly throws a line with a beer in front of the spinning reels. Fishermen landing on that spin are caught after the line win, and the line remains down for the next spin. If more Fishermen land then, they are caught too and the line stays out again. A spin with no Fishermen pulls it back. This creates a conditional chain: a caught Fisherman may be followed by another collection opportunity, but an empty spin ends the sequence.
The Lady and the three-stage bonus
When the line is in the water, the Shark can collect the Lady. Each Lady increases the Shark multiplier, with steps of x2, x3, x5, x8, x10, x15 and x20. That multiplier applies to collected Fishermen symbols in the current and following spins for as long as the line remains down. It does not affect line wins. The game therefore separates two kinds of result: standard combinations are paid as line wins, while collected Fishermen prizes can be multiplied by the Shark’s growing value.
Three, four or five scatters trigger 8, 12 or 20 Free Spins. Scatters do not appear during the feature, and the fishing line stays down throughout it. If a Shark multiplier exists when the feature starts, it is retained; each Lady caught during Free Spins raises it for the rest of that round, then the multiplier resets when the feature ends. Collection also drives progression.
Configuration, costs and trade-offs
The Red Tiger game page reports 96.11% RTP and a numeric volatility index of 18.54; Evolution also lists a 93.11% RTP option and labels volatility high. Maximum payout is 10,000x, and the release date is 2 April 2026. Feature Buy is available: Golden Trophy costs 20x stake, while Free Spins costs 80x. Each purchase temporarily transfers the game into a new state, saving the current state and restoring it after the bought round.
The main strength is legibility after the line appears: caught symbols, their values and the multiplier have distinct roles, and the free-spin thresholds explain exactly what advances each level. The cost is several simultaneous pieces of state: line status, Shark multiplier, Fisherman count and level. A miss can end a base-game collection chain, while the free-spin multiplier resets at the feature’s end. Players looking for a compact bonus may find the level progression and multiplier bookkeeping demanding, especially given the high volatility label.
Strengths and weak points
Strengths
The line’s carryover, Fisherman prize tiers and Lady multiplier have distinct rules, while free-spin thresholds clearly explain level changes and extra spins.
Weaknesses
The base-game collection ends when a spin lands no Fishermen, and the Shark multiplier resets after Free Spins; multiple counters also require tracking.
Our Editor’s View
Shark Boss is built around the changing status of one fishing line. While it remains down, Fishermen values can accumulate across consecutive spins and Lady catches raise a multiplier for those collected prizes; a spin without Fishermen draws the line back, and ordinary line wins are never multiplied by that feature. Free Spins retain a starting multiplier and add a clear three-stage collection challenge, but the multiplier resets afterward. The exact thresholds make the bonus unusually easy to follow once entered, while the separate counters and high volatility make outcomes difficult to anticipate. It suits players who enjoy tracking a sequence of state changes and explicit collection goals more than those who want a brief, low-maintenance feature.
